Hillside Consulting Engineers Limited has designed
more than 150 bridges. Since 1995, we have been involved
with the design of 15 bridges. These structures have
included such elements as:
- Straight, curved and spiral geometry
- Highway, rail and pedestrian loadings
- Concrete, steel and timber materials
- Water crossings and grade separations
Many of our projects have included unique considerations
such as:
- Environmental considerations
- Aesthetics
- Scour analysis
- Flood and ice flow loads
- Temporary traffic provisions
We work closely with our clients to establish and understand
the project goals. These goals may be as basic as providing
a standard roadway bridge, or as complicated as developing
plans and specifications for a bridge in an environmentally
sensitive area.
