Since 1995, Hillside Consulting Engineers has completed
a variety of military engineering projects for the Department
of National Defence. These services — required
as a result of the Canadian Forces School of Military
Engineering relocation from CFB Chilliwack, BC, to CFB
Gagetown, NB — included the following:

- Berm Designs
- Explosive Observation Bunker Design
- Ammunition Storage Building Design
- Shelter Design
These projects included such unique considerations
as:
- Dynamically designed bunkers with specialty materials
to resist blast pressures and explosively propelled
fragment impacts
- Environmental considerations
- Site and Bunker designs for clear viewing of all
training areas
